Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Columbia office working within their Commercial Litigation Practice. This is a unique opportunity for litigators that may lack a commercial background to pivot and join the firm's diverse practice. 

Responsibilities  

• Communicate with clients, partners and other members of the practice group, and additional stakeholders regarding case developments. 

• Manage a caseload consisting of a variety of Commercial Litigation matters. 

• Attend and defend depositions, as well as appear at court hearings. 

Qualifications  

• 1-2 years of litigation experience. 

• Commercial litigation experience is a plus. 

• Excellent academic credentials are required. 

• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.

•  Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter. 

• Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina. 

• Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
