Our  client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Damage Associate to join its New York office. This position requires expertise in evaluating, litigating, and resolving complex property damage cases, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients. You will work alongside a collaborative legal team in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse caseload. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $120,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and skill set. 

Responsibilities   

• Handle a broad range of property damage claims, including real estate   disputes, construction defects, natural disasters, and insurance coverage issues. 

• Manage all phases of litigation, including case evaluation,  discovery, depositions, motions, trial preparation, and trial. 

• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on property damage claims, including risk assessment and settlement strategy. 

Requirements

• 2+ years (4-7 years, preferred) of experience in property damage litigation, real estate law, or insurance defense. 

• Strong litigation experience, including trial and appellate experience.

• Experience working with   insurance companies, adjusters, and third-party claims administrators.

• Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. 

• Must be licensed to practice in New York.
