Qualification:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant with a focus on litigation and administrative tasks.
Candidates must be proactive, a strong team player, detail-oriented, flexible, and demonstrate excellent technical, organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
Experience with electronic document management systems (IManage experience is preferred).
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on the practice group’s business needs and deadlines is essential.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the electronic preparation and submission of new client business intake processes, and follow through with a sense of urgency until completion
Prepare and submit Cash Disbursement Requests (CDRs) for processing vendor invoices in a timely manner; monitor invoices
Perform electronic filings in Federal and Florida State Courts and with the American Arbitration Association as needed;
Assist with uploading and saving of emails and documents into the firm’s electronic document management system (IManage), while adhering to the practice group protocols for the naming of saved documents
Assist with attorneys’ calendaring and calendar invites
Provide backup overflow support and coverage for the practice group legal administrative assistants
Assist with scanning and copying
Actual salaries will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees.
